Subject:              Heavy Glass MADE SIMPLE — The Innovative Signature Pivot Door System for Shower Installations 

JACKSONVILLE, Florida – Southeastern Aluminum Products’ latest addition to its Signature line of heavy glass enclosures is a pivot door system for 3/8-inch-thick glass.  This new design eliminates the need for notches and complicated hinge hardware requiring screws, springs, ball bearings or rods.

              The Signature Pivot Door hardware is a simple clamp-on device with a unique base plate that utilizes the weight and turning motion of the door to self center itself in the standard closed position.  No notches have to be made in the glass, reducing both the cost and required lead time of glass fabrication, and the simplicity of the hardware itself allows for considerable savings over the more complicated heavy glass pivot door hardware currently available in the marketplace. 

            The Signature Pivot Door’s simple clamp-on hardware also makes it easier to install and allows for quick horizontal adjustment.  The versatile hardware can be installed as a wall mount, from floor-to-ceiling or in a standard header configuration and works either as a standalone door or in a custom combination with a variety of fixed panels.  Standard colors for the hardware are silver, gold and brushed nickel. In addition, the hardware can be powder coated to match any color sample provided by the customer. The company has also expanded its color options for the base plate, previously available in white only. The new colors — black, gray and beige — will allow more options for blending with the customer’s tile or marble.
